Very convenient dual band plug that just works
I really like how this smart plug works with routers that combine 2.4GHz and 5GHz into one network. Setup was smooth and I did not have to split my bands or adjust router settings, which made everything much easier. The connection has been stable and reliable so far. I also appreciate the scheduling and remote control features since they make daily use very convenient. It feels well built, handles my devices without any issues, and offers great value for the price.

May not be strong enough for TV use
The product was probably fine but after a lot of time spent on getting it coordinated with my other Smart Home/Google/ Nest devices and uploading the app itself I gave up. I didn’t want to install one more app, just wanted to have it work quickly and easily. Yes, it turned off the TV (by using the app), but it would not turn it on, light came on, then faded out. I was going for compatible voice control with Google.

Make sure you check to see if U have a 5G phone so U get a 5G plug. I love the plug because I can control in my case plug in lights from my other rooms. it is so easy and so convenient. I am getting ready to add more Smart Plugs.

Great for hard to reach lamps
LOVE IT! First off, this does work with my AT&T 5Ghz wifi. I looked for just a simple smart bulb but could only find 2.4 Ghz compatible. I searched for a few days and found these plugs (they also work with 2.4 Ghz according to the instructions). You don’t need a hub like Alexa, but the documentation says it is compatible.The minor downside is it does take a few extra steps to connect through the (Android) phone app. but anything now days takes a few steps to set up.I have two places where I need a lamp but it’s hard to reach. One lamp in my living room I need to control while I’m away from home. If it gets dark, my wife needs to turn on a light but can’t reach any. I can control it from anywhere. I was in town 15 miles away and needed to turn it on. My wife was thankful I could turn it on. Similarly with my laundry room, the switch is on the opposite wall, so I can turn on a plugged in light without tripping over a laundry basket at night.I will probably order more as needs arise (I’m already thinking of where I could use these).

I’ve had it with GHome!
I previously purchased a pair of GHome 2.4 g smart plugs Model WP 3 from Amazon. No matter what I did, they would not pair. I could not get them to pair even when I tried using the hotspot you provided. I finally gave up after hours of trying and decided to order your new 5 g WP-3A plugs since the problem appeared to be that I have 5g. Well, these won’t pair either! The app recognizes the plug, but then after the circle completes I get FAIL. I have no trouble pairing any other devices in my house with my router. Only these Ghome smart plugs. No more Ghome anything!!!

Work great when they work.
I really like how these work and they integrate well with my home system using Home Assistant. I have had several of them go bad within 6 months. They will just stop supporting the device they are serving. They look like they are on but wont power the device.
